AAOP Diagnostic Criteria for TMD and other Orofacial Pain Disorders: The most practical system from a clinical perspective is the AAOP guidelines for Orofacial Pain. The book describes TM disorders among other problems. The new edition includes several updates and has adopted the DC/TMD as the backbone for temporomandibular disorders. It also has a chapter dedicated to pain and sleep.
